Amber

Amber is an emblematic ingredient in perfumery, appreciated for its warm, sensual and enveloping notes. Contrary to what its name might suggest, the amber used in perfumery does not come from fossilized resin (often called yellow amber), but rather is an olfactory composition recreating the sweet, balsamic scent of ambergris, a very rare substance of animal origin.
